Practical Recycling

Practical Recycling at Willow Creek Springs is at the heart of our goals for sustainable organic gardening of herbs, fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants.

Willow Creek Springs produces top grade organic potting mix, worm castings and teas using a method known as vermicomposting. Put simply, we feed wood chips, paper and the green waste from our botanical garden to our millions of hungry redworms. We encourage the community to bring in their newspaper, magazines, household paper, and even workplace paper waste to dump here in our composting bins. Feed thousands of hungry red worms instead of the city or county dump.

Arborists, contact us about dumping chips at WCS for free. We can process in excess of 100+ truckloads per year! Call for an appointment 951-436-6312.

Livestock owners, contact us to arrange dump of aged manure at no cost.
