Guestbook
I'd like to thank everyone that has posted on our guestbook it has been a great way to get a glimpse of other folks reaction to our gardens, nursery, products and website. Unfortunately, someone has posted on a regular basis some malicious code. I have removed it several times but it keeps reappearing. I'm going to repost all the legitimate posts and will continue to keep this feature active. You'll need to email a post and put in the subject line "guestbook entry" this way I can scan before posting. This will be more time consuming but will prevent rampant damage to the site. sorry for the inconvenience. Joe 06/02/2008 I met you at the Lake Elsinore farmers market about a month ago. I purchased a few of your skin care products as well as some jelly. I can my own jam and jelly, and have to say your pomegranate jelly is just delicous. I like all the products I tried but I especially like the healing salve. I have dermatitis on my index finger knuckle, for the past 7 years I have been prescribed all kinds of creams and ointments from cortisone, steroid, antibacterial, to over the counter polysporin, neosporin, ect. with very little relief. When I first tried the salve I was pleased at how quickly it absorbed into this dry scaly spot, it is also very soothing. As I continue to use it regularly I've noticed that the dermatitis hasn't gone away but is much softer and not as tender as it usually is. I originally got the healing salve for my 2 year old grandson, you know how the little ones are always getting cuts and scrapes, he also likes your healing salve, if he sees the container he quickly pulls up his pant leg to have his latest "owwie" treated and I know he heals twice as fast as untreated "owwies" THANK YOU, DEBI 07/20/2008 Dear Liz and Joe, 08/05/2008
My name is Jesse And Ive been volunteering at willow Creek Springs for the
past couple of weeks. Ive known Joe and Liz for a few months now, but it
seems like We go way back. Joe and Liz have been wonderful, theyve opened
their doors to me and see me as one of their own. Ive struggled with
depression since I can remember. Not really understanding how to cope with
Depression, I did what most people do, I turned to drugs, ( Zoloft
and Prosac). In my case this drugs did more bad then good
making me feel empty, living me with a numb sensation, suppressing my
feeling and emotions. Not wanting to ever feel this way again I stop taking
the drugs. This is when my life started shifting and day by day I started
taking control over how I feel.
I met Joe shortly after I had decided to stop taking the prescribed drugs. I
remember that day like if it was yesterday. I recall walking into Joes
place not knowing what to expect, but seeing Joe so full of life and energy
picked me right off of the ground, it was as if some-one had taken his
energy and given me a jolt of it. I opened up to Joe and told him about my
current situation, he proposed the idea of me volunteering and in return he
would teach me about plants, so I excepted.
Now I volunteer my weekends at Willow Creek Springs. From transplanting
plant to harvesting soil to trimming trees, this is how I help and
contribute to Willow Creek Springs but in all actuality, It is you guy who
have helped me. Working with the soil, transplanting plants, and shoveling
away at the dirt, makes all my problems go away.
Thank you for being who you are!
Jesse.
